What is CNC machining boring?
The so-called CNC machining boring refers to the expansion or refinement of the original hole on the work piece. The boring feature of CNC is to correct the eccentricity of the bottom hole, obtain the precise position of the hole, and achieve high accuracy roundness, surface finish. Therefore, boring is often used in the final process. For example, the bearing holes of all kinds of machines, and the machining of various kinds of engine cases, box covers, etc.
Compared with other machining processes, CNC boring is a rather difficult process. It only adjusts a blade (or blade holder) to produce micron holes like H7 and H6.
