What are the characteristics of the titanium alloy?
1. high strength, titanium alloy density of 4.5g/cm3 is only 60% of steel, commonly used in aircraft engine components, skeleton, skin and so on;
2. the thermal strength is high, the working temperature of titanium alloy can reach 500 degrees, and the aluminum alloy is only about 200 degrees Celsius.
3. good corrosion resistance, titanium alloy can work in wet weather and sea water medium. But its corrosion resistance to reducing oxygen and chromate salt is poor.
4. good performance at low temperature;
5. chemical activity is large.
6. the coefficient of thermal conductivity is small, and the modulus of elasticity is small.
