What are the types of mold steel?
The alloy tool steel used for making various mold is called die steel. The steel used to make cold mold, hot forging die casting mold and so on is the main application of die steel. The quality of the pressure machining technology is directly affected by the quality of the mold when the parts are made in some large machinery manufacturing industries, as well as in the industrial sectors such as electrical and electrical machinery.
The use of mold steel is very wide, and it is also because of the wide use of mold, so the working conditions of various molds are also very different. From the general carbon structure steel, carbon tool steel, alloy structural steel and alloy tool steel can be divided into three categories: cold working die steel, hot working die steel and plastic steel in accordance with its own use.
The mold steel is widely used for the manufacture of the work piece under cold condition. The hot die steel is mainly used to make the mold for the pressure processing of the work piece under high temperature. It is very rapid for forging and smelting some steel. Because of the variety of the quality of some plastics.
Therefore, the requirements for plastic products vary greatly, especially for different quality plastic mold steels. At present, many large companies have formed a wide range of plastic mold steel series. In fact, polymer based extreme temperature lubricants are "heat seeking" and will adhere to metal to form a diaphragm which can reduce friction. This protective barrier allows the work piece to extend and control the friction and metal flow when there is no rupture and bonding during the molding of the highest required work piece. The mold is effectively protected, the service life of the die is prolonged, and the intensity of stamping is improved.
